Weekly Wrap Up 3/3/23

I missed writing my Weekly Wrap Up last week! I hope today’s is packed full of interesting tidbits to make up for it. Last week, on stop of performing in a limited engagement performance of The Tempest with the Philharmonic Orchestra, I directed a children’s version of Cinderella. It kept me busy and EXHAUSTED, but I felt so artistically fulfilled. It’s a strange thing, feeling happy and proud of the work you’re doing, when it isn’t what you imagined for yourself.

I’m very excited for the premiere of Daisy Jones and the Six on Prime Video this weekend! I might be taking an impromptu trip this weekend so I might hold off until next week to watch, but I reread the book via audio (I read it physically in 2019!) and I’m still so excited to see it come to life.

We had another big snowstorm and I’ve got to say, I am really ready for Spring. I’m ready for longer day, reading by the pool and on the patio, flip flops and dresses. I booked a trip to Charleston for the end of April and I am ready for the sunshine and the heat.

I’m in tech for Peter Pan on Sunday and I may be popping down to the city on Saturday…just depends on a few things. So it will be a weekend filled with theatre, friends, and adventure, no matter how it turns out. Plus, The Bookmark will be back tomorrow! Make sure you’re subscribed. Tomorrow’s edition is all about the dreaded reading slump.
