April Bucket List

A new month, a new bucket list. April was never a month I loved until it became our wedding month due to all the postponements thanks to the Pandemic. I wasn’t thrilled about it at first. To me, April was a transition month and gray and muddy, but when you desperately want warm weather. But last year, April showed me how beautiful transition really is.

Last April, we got our vaccines. We had an 80 degree day where we hung out outside with our friends and their kids. We got ice cream. Then the next week, it snowed. It was cozy again, just long enough to calm me down. I got to spend nearly two weeks with my parents. We got married and then went off on our mini moon. Now, I’ll always have beautiful memories of April and how magical transitions can be.

  1. Celebrate our First Wedding Anniversary—I cannot believe we’re coming up on one year married. It felt like the longest and and shortest year!

  2. Visit a Local Coffee Shop—I love my Starbucks but I still feel like I haven’t explored our new home enough. I want to find a coffee shop I can sit outside at to work once it’s warm enough!

  3. Start Draft 2 of Co-Writing Project—Amber and I have finished our first draft and I am READY for draft 2. I can’t wait to get started!

  4. Make Banana Pudding—This is Nick’s favorite dessert and I make it for Easter every year!

  5. Celebrate Beasley’s First Birthday—Baby B is almost ONE! I can’t believe it. Depending on how Covid things are, we want to have a little party for her and her puppy friends.

  6. Hikes/Spending Time Outdoors—As much as I love the snow and Winter, I am always so ready for sunshine and Spring. It’s going to be muddy for quite some time since we had so much snow this year, but I can’t wait to get outside more!

  7. Clean Out My Bookshelves—This desperately needs to happen. I have way too many books and it’s overwhelming. I think I’m going get a Pango Books account and sell there!

  8. Plan our 2022 Summer Garden—I cannot wait for our little garden to be back on the patio! Thinking more veggies this year, less herbs.

  9. Launch My New Products—I have been working on more “merch” and I can’t wait to share it!

  10. Read a Book in One Sitting—A goal every month but it just makes me feel good to get lost in a story and have to finish it in one day!
