Weekly Wrap Up 4/26/24

I am so glad it is Friday. My first week back to work was more exhausting than I could have imagined! I am so happy to be back with my students and co-workers, but my goodness was my mind and body exhausted. But, it has felt rather good to be back in a routine. We had another cold spell but next week it’s going to be in the 70’s!!! I cannot wait for the warm weather to be more consistent. Our pool was uncovered and I am itching for pool days and beach picnics and trips to the dog park.

Since I was so tired and adjusting to life back at work, I had a hard time finding my reading groove. Wednesday night, my eyes could hardly stay open and I was asleep before 10pm. I didn’t hate it! But my brain is always calmer when I have time to read.

Now I need to know your thoughts of TTPD! I feel like Cowboy Carter is going to be my album of the Summer because of its vibes but I really do like Tortured Poets.
