I’ve read and loved Georgia Clark for quite some time but when I read the synopsis of this book and realized it centered on Summer theatre, I was all in. Some of my fondest memories of my teenage years and early twenties were evenings spent doing shows with my friends and eventually Summer Stock as a professional. There really is no other experience like it.
I thought this book was cute, nostalgic for me as an actor, and had small town charm. An easy, cute, inclusive read!

What I Liked:
The Theatre Aspect—Theatre kids will love all the references. The diner! I also have always loved Rosencratz and Guildenstern are Dead—it’s one of my all time favorite plays!
The Low Stakes, Fun Vibe—An easy, light, read perfect for Summer or early Fall.
What Didn’t Work for Me:
On the Cheesy Side for Me—I am a romance reader and love a HEA but things wrapped up veryyy nicely. A little too nicely.
